Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is a professional basketball player in the Dallas Wings, a team that is part of the Women's National Basketball Association. Arike Ogunbowale played college basketball with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish before being drafted to the Wings as a fifth overall pick in the 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2 1997. She was the second child of Yolanda Ogunbowale as well as Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her brothers. She is the youngest of her siblings and received the most attention from her parents. Ogunbowale was selected as the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on the 7th of July 2014. Ogunbowale was also selected on the ACC All-Freshman Team following her first collegiate year. Although still a newbie, Ogunbowale has established herself as an exceptional basketball star and is sure to follow her dream.
