Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing, and wrestling prior to her debut as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd gained confidence after her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated by the start of the round. Then she returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian prior to going to face Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen, and beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's amateur records were marred. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey in professional boxing. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by first-round TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and won via armbar submission in the second round. Aspen used her superior wrestler skills to knock down McGill and then ended the fight with a third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd failed to make an appearance at the. Aspen, however, beat Hoy by using TKO. Her final fight with the promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by using her ground and pound techniques, resulting in the TKO second round victory. In her second fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd was victorious in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she's ever had in any significant capacity. Ladd, who won the unanimous decision after an intense back and forth battle among the pair of fighters, received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya during the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. As a replacement she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
